Day 1: Transfer from Chandigarh to Narkanda (192 km, 6-7 hours)
- Our representative will pick you up on arrival at Chandigarh airport or railway station.
- Then our representative will head towards Narkanda, which is a 6-7 hour drive.
- En route to Narkanda, there are several attractions that you can view, namely Pinjore garden, Timbertail, Parwanoo, Kasauli, Solan, Shimla, Masobra, Kufri, Fagu and Theog.
- In the evening, upon reaching Narkanda, check in at the hotel.
- Spend the rest of the night at the hotel.
Day 2: Transfer from Narkanda to Saangla(161 Km,6-7 Hrs)
- After having breakfast, head towards Sangla which is a 6-hour journey.
- At Narkanda, visit the Hatu Peak from where Central Himalayans can be viewed.
- You can also visit Devi Kaali temple, which is a properly structured wooden temple.
- During the journey, you may view several attractions, such as Sutlej River, Nogli beach, Happy waterfall and Annin viewpoint offering luscious terrain.
- During the journey, you can visit to Bhimakali temple at Sarahan, Hawa Mahal, the Cricket ground and the oldest Mahal of the king of Himachal.
- Upon reaching Sangla, check in to the hotel.
- Post lunch, walk around Kamru and Sangla villages and explore the local area.
- Sangla valley is also known as the Baspa Sangla valley, as the name was derived from the Baspa River flowing in the valley.
- Spend the rest of the evening at leisure and the night in the pre-booked hotel.
Day 3: Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley
- After a delicious breakfast, head towards the local Kamru village and then Sangla connecting to the local people.
- Walk for a while and reach Kamru Fort, known for its wooden structure and has a dedicated temple to Mata Kamaksha.
- The Sangla village is on the bank of the river Baspa. The soil of Sangla village is very fertile and used for irrigation.
- Sangla village is at an altitude of 2621 m above the water level and is 17 km from Karcham.
- The sloppy region looks stunning, and the houses are structured in a manner that looks like they are heading one on the other. You can have a view of Raldang peak from there.
- Then move towards the Sangla meadow and Bering Nag temple having cultural significance in Hinduism. The temple is dedicated to Lord Jagas.
- The next stops would be the Tibetian Wood Carving, the centre Buddhist Monastery and Chitkul.
- Chitkul is another famous local village in the Kinnaur region of Himachal Pradesh, known as the last village in India and is around the Indo-Tibetan border.
- Move on to the Baspa valley and be mesmerized by its unique natural beauty. The terrain is relatively not so steep.
- Then reach your hotel and spend the rest of the night at Sangla hotel.
Day 4: Sangla to Kalpa local Sightseeing 2759 metres / 9048 feet (40 km /2-3 hours)
- Post breakfast, move towards the Kalpa village, which will take around 2-3 hours.
- On the way, have a glance at the local market of Reckong Peo, which is also the district headquarters of Kinnaur district.
- Take a halt and taste the delicious Indian and Tibetan cuisine at a local restaurant.
- After lunch, explore the Kalpa village and then Roghi village, famous for apples and apricots.
- Get a glorious glance of Mt Kinner Kailash from these villages.
- Kalpa is located at a high altitude of 2759 meters above sea level and is around 260 km from Shimla.
- It was formerly the district headquarter of Kinnaur village owning to its cultural and heritage importance.
- Kalpa came to be known when British Governor Dalhousie visited Kalpa in the 19th century.
- Spend the rest of the day leisurely.
Day 5: Kalpa to Tabo 3050 metres / 10010 feet (150 km / 9-10 hours)
- In the morning, after breakfast and check out from the hotel to reach Tabo, which is 9-10 hours of journey.
- Tabo is renowned for its Buddhist significance, and we will be visiting several places during the journey.
- The first place to be visited would be Puh and Nako. There are several Tibetan temples and caves over there. Locals say that Saint Padmasambhava used to mediate near Nako Lake.
- Resuming the journey to Tabo, the next stop would be Gue village, where you can visit the historically preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk 600 years old.
- Later in the evening, reach Tabo and check in at the hotel.
- Enter the cold desert of the Himalayas, the Spiti Valley.
- The place's magical surroundings intrigue you, and due to the cold weather in winter, entry is restricted.
Day 6: Tabo to Kaza 3200 metres / 10500 feet (49 km/ 3 hours)
- Visit the oldest monastery in the Himalayas, Tabo Monastery.
- Buddhism holds much significance to this monastery, and various monks practice meditation there.
- Then move towards Kaza, which is a three-hour drive from Tabo.
- En route, visit the Dhankar village, Dhankar Monastery and the Fort, letting you explore the authentic lifestyle of local people with nature.
- During the journey, there would be lunch and tea refreshment break with the local families allowing you to communicate with them.
- Later reach Kaza hotel and take a rest the night.
Day 7: Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hours)
- Post the delicious breakfast, travel to the villages of Langza.
- Walk on the Chicham Bridge, the highest bridge in Asia connecting Chicham village and Kibber village.
- On the top of the mountain is a monastery having religious significance.
- The green meadows nearby look pretty, and you can watch several farmers and yaks in them.
- If weather conditions are favourable, drive to the Hikkim and Komic village, known to be the highest settlement in India at 4500 metres connected with a highway road.
- Following that, travel to Kibber village and Kee monastery.
- Kee Monastery is an important monastery in India as it is a training institute for the lamas, and several monks stay there to seek inner peace.
- Continue the journey to the mountains, watching large herds of Himalayan Blue sheep.
- Enjoy authentic lunch at a hotel in Kibber village, trying on Tibetian delicacies.
- Return to Kaza in the evening and spend the day leisurely in the hotel.
Day 8: Kaza to Chandratal Lake (114 km, 5-6 hours)
- The day starts with a delicious breakfast, and get ready to explore the renowned Chandratal Lake.
- Cross the Kunzum pass and reach Baltal popular for its significance in the Hindu religion.
- During the journey, enjoy the unmatched views of CB Range Peaks, playing hide and seek with sun rays.
- The Chandratal Lake is 2.5 km long and is the source of the river Chandra.
- The lake is now popular among adventure enthusiasts, and he enjoys campaigning over there, gazing at the sky amidst Mother Nature.
- Have a one-night camping in Chandra Tal Lake for a blissful view of the mountain ranges and snow.
Day 9: Chandratal to Keylong 2050 metres / 6726 feet (130 km/ 7-8 hours)
- The 9th-day journey will start a bit early, around 6-30 am, owning to the longest journey in the trip, driving to Keylong via Gramphu and Sissu.
- Keylong gives importance to the Buddhist culture and celebrates it with various festivals around the year.
- Discover the Sissu Snow point and have fun with family and friends.
- Move on to Sissu waterfall, Gondhla Fort and several other places offering scenic beauty to travellers.
- Head back to the hotel and take a rest in the night.
Day 10: Keylong,Jispa And BaralachaLocal Sightseeing
- Explore the Kardang Monastery having a huge library of Buddhist literature.
- Head next to the Jispa,Deepak Tal Lake,Surajtal Lake,Baralacha,Tribal museum, Shahsur Monastery and Zero Point, having historical significance in maintaining the scenic beauty.
- Then head back to the hotel in Keylong and spend the rest of the day leisurely.
Day 11: Keylong to Manali (130 km, 5-6 hours)
- After finishing breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards the popular tourist destination, Manali.
- Proceed to Manali via the Atal Tunnel and The Solang valley.
- Enjoy the adventure activities and get immersed in the panoramic landscape of the mountain ranges.
- Reach Manali in the evening and enjoy an overnight stay in the pre-booked hotel.
Day 12: Manali to Chandigarh (310 km, 8-9 hours)
- Although the last day, the travelling zeal is still there.
- During the travel, drive through Kullu, Aut, Hanogi Devi temple and Pandoh Dam.
- Head towards Chandigarh in the Car Rental for Spiti Valley and reach Chandigarh in the evening.
- The trip ends here with loads of memories, and wishing you to serve you again!
