Kinnaur Valley is one of the least populated areas in our country, but it is also one of the most beautiful and unexplored tourist destinations. The restricted region links India and Tibet in a way that adventurers will find irresistible. The drives through the snowy mountains and rushing rivers of Kinnaur valley are very spectacular. More snowfall is likely to fall at higher elevations, so you may see the snow more often. Kinnaur Kailash Mountain, a sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva near the Tibetan border, is the region's most visited landmark. 

Interesting fact: the air in the valley of Kinnaur is supposedly the purest in all of India. Kinnaur Valley is the place to go if you want to get away from the smog and stress of the city. Visit the peaceful and lovely Kalpa on the Sutlej river, the enchanting Nako (the place of fairy tales), and the remote Chitkul, the last village in India. Roads in the Kinnaur Valley are often blocked during the winter because traveling is too risky due to the heavy snowfall and other adverse weather conditions. Visit in the early winter or late summer for the finest weather. Kinnaur Valley, located at a higher altitude, is a beautiful and unique tourist destination.

By Train: People coming from Delhi/Chandigarh or Ambala can reach the nearest railway station, Shimla. From there, you can reach Kinnaur Valley via hired taxis.

By Air: Jubbarhatti, the nearest airport is 23 km away and is easily accessible for tourists to reach Kinnaur valley. 

Kinnaur valley is a cool place with moderate temperatures around the year, but the best months to visit Kinnaur Valley are April to June and October to March
